So many families have expressed to Byers' Choice that one of their favorite Christmas traditions is not only baking but, more importantly, eating cookies whose recipes have been handed down for generations. We had to include grandma with this grouping because so often, she is at the helm of this endeavor and is often helped by her children and grandchildren.  Baking cookies is a holiday tradition for most families.
