New Byers' Choice for 2003. Comes in assorted clothing. This years pieces are a Girl and Boy with Nutcracker. Nutcrackers are believed to have originated in the Erzgebirge region of Germany about 300 years ago. An artisan carved a wooden soldier with a movable mouth to symbolically crack the "hard nut" of the economic times. The figure quickly became popular throughout the region, Germany and the world. These figures will each have a hang tag.
