In 2003, a new series of figures named "Christmas Illustrations" was introduced based on Joyce Byers interest in 19th century illustrations that were developed for greeting cards and advertisements around the turn of the century.  Each year, Joyce designs a new Caroler for the series that has become one of the most popular series to collect.
