For 2010, continuing the wine and Italian theme that has captured the hearts of our many Caroler collectors, the Wooden Duck is excited to introduce their Byers Choice 2010 exclusive " Mama Leone". " Mama Leone" has arrived directly from Italy and joins her husband " Papa di Vino". Mama has been busy preparing her secret homemade pasta, meatball and gravy recipe plus aromatic garlic bread. Keeping with tradition, she also brings along a vintage bottle of red merlot wine from the grapes grown in her homeland.

 

She is attired in a black silk morie dress with black stockings from the old country and to keep the chill off a beautifully crocheted shawl covers her shoulders. Her white battenburg lace apron helps to prevent spills on her dress, and as a final touch, "Mama Leone" has an heirloom cameo at the neckline of her dress.
