Byers Choice - Sophia
As Mama Leone has adjusted to the long, tedious hours in the vineyard, she has waited patiently for the last ship from the old country to arrive. Aboard are her two lovely grandchildren Sophia and Salvatore.
They have missed their families, who arrived earlier, the Wine Maiden, Sergio and Papa Di Vino. Everyone is overjoyed that they all back together and working diligently to keep the vineyard going.
Sophia is dressed in a maroon striped cotton skirt with a floral printed peplum. Her black vest mimics that of the Wine Maiden as well as her cotton bolero shirting. She has a scarf tied around her neck that helps with the hot weather in the vineyards. She has balanced on her head that has long flowing black ebony hair a large basket of ripe grapes.
Her brother Salvatore is happy to be with his family. He is overjoyed to be assisting the Wine Maiden out in the vineyards. He is attired in olive colored pants and wears a maroon and khaki plaid shirt. He carries a wine bottle ready to be filled and corked with his family’s famous wine. On top of his head he wears a traditional family heirloom hat complete with a feather.
The Wheelbarrow with Grapes and/or Red or Green Grapes bunches make for wonderfull accent pieces to accompany Sophia and Salvatore. - See below.
